It's OK to be  'mushy and emotional' on Valentine's Day, and we encourage you women and men to do just that!

What better way can an expression of love be shown and felt, except through music?   Whatever your genre is, writing

a simple song, or singing it or both can surely put a smile on your face and your love one.   That's what I'll do. I want

to surprise the other half of THE WINNING TEAM with a simple melody combined with  reggae, jazz , blues with a little hip hop...  I'll let

THE WINNING TEAM

The Caribbean is well known  to different persons for different  reasons.

For some, the attractions is the sunny climate, ever-blue skies, sandy beaches and exotic hotels overlooking rich and luxuriant landscapes.

Yet others, it is the lure of the  laid-back lifestyle, or even the tax havens. What ever the reason, Reggae is perhaps the Caribbean's best known export. Promoted in chief by the legendary Jamaican band, Bob Marley and the Wailers, who championed the Rastafarian cause, and catapulted Jamaica's music to centre  stage.

What Albert and Tempie desire to do in this group, is to initiate a discussion among its members on all aspects of Caribean music. Particularly, those genres that are lesser known , such as Cadance and bouyon from Dominica and Calypso from Jamaica.

We are a budding musical duo, based in Crawley, in the United Kingdom, our backgrounds sprout from my wife's, Afro-American roots, and  my black-british of Domincan heritage, that came together in holy matrimony on May 10, 2008.
